David E. Weber
David E. Weber is an experienced civil litigation attorney and is Of Counsel to Beytin, McLaughlin, McLaughlin, O’Hara, Bocchino & Bolin, P.A. He has an AV Preeminent® peer review rating from Martindale-Hubbell (the highest possible rating for an attorney’s legal ability and ethical standards), and has been recognized by Florida Super Lawyers. Mr. Weber began his career at the firm where he focused his practice on the defense of claims arising from construction defects, medical malpractice, and premises liability. Prior to re-joining the firm in 2016, he practiced in the Construction Defect Department of a prominent national law firm, and was a Partner in a Tampa based commercial litigation and real estate boutique. He is licensed to practice in all Florida state courts, as well as the United States District Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida.
Mr. Weber’s practice focuses primarily on matters involving construction litigation, professional and medical malpractice, premises and general liability, personal injury defense, and commercial and business litigation. He has extensive experience in matters involving complex multi-party litigation, and routinely represents developers, contractors, suppliers, and manufacturers in matters involving construction defects, breach of contract, and payment disputes.
In addition to his litigation practice, Mr. Weber also serves in a “general counsel” capacity for a number of small and midsized business. In this capacity, he is frequently asked to provide strategic and risk management advice, and is routinely called upon to negotiate, review, and prepare contractual agreements of various types.
