Kyle S. Morat was born in Miami Springs, Florida. He attended Saint Leo University and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice. While at Saint Leo University, Mr. Morat focused his studies on the war on terror and earned a Certification in Homeland Security. After attending Saint Leo University, he went on to complete his law degree at Barry University School of Law in Orlando, Florida. While at Barry University, he was active in Delta Theta Phi as well as the American Constitution Society. During his time at Barry University School of Law, Mr. Morat also volunteered for the Juvenile Life Without Parole Defense Resource Center which provided assistance to attorneys across the state in the representation of clients entitled to relief under the United States Supreme Court’s landmark ruling in Graham v. Florida. He is a member of the Florida Defense Lawyers Association (FDLA), American Bar Association, the Orange County Bar Association, and he is admitted to practice in all Florida State Courts as well as in the U.S. District Courts for the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida. Mr. Morat focuses his practice in the areas of professional liability and medical malpractice litigation, where he defends physicians, nurse practitioners, hospitals and other health care providers in negligence and wrongful death actions. He also has experience in defending Department of Health and other Agency actions and in general civil trial practice including Federal employment and labor actions.
