GABRIELLE S. OSBORNE graduated summa cum laude from Florida State University where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and was admitted to membership in various honor societies, including Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi.  She grew up in the Tampa Bay area, attended the Canterbury School of Florida, and received her International Baccalaureate diploma from St. Petersburg High School.  While at Florida State University, she worked closely with legislators and health-care related special interest groups, including the Florida Medical Association as an advocate for physicians.  After attending Florida State University, she completed her law degree at Stetson University graduating with honors.  While at Stetson University, she lead Stetson’s prestigious Trial Team to multiple national and state competitions, including winning ATLA’s state competition, the coveted Chester Bedell Mock Trial Competition and the National Civil Trial Competition’s Southeastern Regional title.  She also competed with Stetson’s Moot Court Program preparing various appellate briefs and oral arguments across the country and state.  For her multiple victories on behalf of Stetson University, she was recognized with the Ralph Herris Ferrell Competition Award for outstanding achievement in intercollegiate competition.  As part of her professional career, she assisted in the preparation of Florida’s first ever Medical Malpractice Handbook published by the Florida Bar.  In her current practice, she handles not only civil litigation matters, but also represents parties in appellate proceedings.  She is currently licensed to practice in all Florida circuit courts, all Florida appellate courts as well as the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.


Mrs. Osborne currently handles a wide variety civil litigation claims, including personal injury and medical malpractice.  Mrs. Osborne also represents physicians, nurses and other physician-extenders in Department of Health investigations.  As part of her Health Care Law practice, she reviews agreements for various physician practices and represents physicians and their professional associations during the course of various state and federal investigations.  She was recognized in 2013, 2014, 2017 and 2018 by Florida’s Super Lawyers Magazine and Tampa Bay Magazine as one of Florida’s Rising Stars in the area of medical malpractice defense.  Mrs. Osborne has also served on the Communications Committee for the Florida Society of Hospital Risk Managers and enjoys speaking and writing about various risk management topics, including the Electronic Medical Record, HIPAA & the HITECH Act and the Top Ten Mistakes to Avoid as a New Physician.  She also regularly advises physicians, physician groups and other health care providers regarding how to handle risk management issues and other legal concerns.  Mrs. Osborne also deeply cares for the Tampa Bay Community and has dedicated her time to supporting various philanthropic organizations in the Bay Area, including the Pinellas County Hope homeless shelter, St. Anthony’s Partners in Philanthropy, the Bayfront Health Foundation, Habit for Humanity, the ASPCA and Southeastern Guide Dogs.  She has been recognized by the National Association of Professional Women and has also served on the Hillsborough County Bar Association Community Service Committee.  When she is not focusing on her career and the community, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Satyen Gandhi, Esq., and her children.
